Are you looking for something for your family to do this weekend? Check out FamilyLifeNWA.com each week for our top weekend picks.
There's always something to do in Northwest Arkansas. Now you know! See our full calendar of activities.
The Washington County Fair is the largest and most established county fair in Arkansas. Founded in 1857, The Washington County Fair is a reflection of the past decades of farmers, business leaders, volunteers and youth that have, with hard work and dedication, made The Washington County Fair what it is today.
Our history reveals many past events, such as baseball games, horse races and community dinners. Although the fair was suspended during the Second World War for a few years, the following year the fair was reorganized and has been going strong ever since. In the past few years we have introduced new events such as our tractor pull, Dutch oven cook-off and beauty pageant.

Cost: $5 Gate Admission. $25 Armbands for rides or tickets can be purchased per ride.
Looking to get the kids a little exercise while supporting a great cause? Although the Trifrest for MS is hailed as one of the top five triathlons nationally, this year they have added a full complement of activities for children 5 years of age to 12 along with a family 5k. The youth races should be a blast as the 5-6 year olds will compete in a 25 yard swim, 1 mile bike ride, and .25 mile run. The distances are only slightly longer for the 7-8 and 9-10 year old races.
Registration is still open, do go support a good cause and have some family fun!
